Are You Ready For Success?

Are you ready?

Do you feel fully prepared to begin your journey to success?

Have you got all the confidence you need to throw yourself into the unknown and the skills to be able to easily sail through the difficult times?

I guess the answer to all these questions is probably 'No'!

Feeling confident is all about knowing that you can deal with whatever comes your way without missing a beat, of having the ability to take unforeseen circumstances in your stride without experiencing undue anxiety, fear or discomfort. And who among us can claim to be fully equipped to do that?

Not me, anyway.

The trouble is, this feeling of not knowing enough to make a success of whatever it is we are attempting to do, simply stops the majority of people from ever starting.

They become the eternal student - wanting to learn everything there is to know about a subject before setting out towards their goals. Unfortunately the end result is usually a great deal of time and effort is spent on non-productive preparation and the real work never gets started......

If you recognize yourself in this scenario, read the short poem below.  The time that you are best equipped to start upon a project is NOW.

Do your learning along the way and never be afraid of making mistakes - it's the best and fastest way to become confident and successful I know  :)

Start Where You Stand
By Berton Braley

Start where you stand and never mind the past,
The past won’t help you in beginning new,
If you have left it all behind at last
Why, that’s enough, you’re done with it, you’re through;
This is another chapter in the book,
This is another race that you have planned,
Don’t give the vanished days a backward look,
Start where you stand.

The world won’t care about your old defeats
If you can start anew and win success;
The future is your time, and time is fleet
And there is much of work and strain and stress;
Forget the buried woes and dead despairs,
Here is a brand-new trial right at hand,
The future is for him who does and dares,
Start where you stand.
